Re: what is the best type of housing
I love tubs. They are not as pretty as a well decorated tank, but are fantastic for humidity, temps and cleaning. They are dirt cheap to boot! Being able to pick them up at places like Walmart and Target make them super easy to pick up. Just my .02

Re: what is the best type of housing
Oh well there's the confusion then, you put your question in BP Husbandry so folks are going to assume you're asking about ball python housing. I'll move your question over to Giant Pythons so you'll get information more appropriate to housing those types of snakes.

4' x 2' will work for a super dwarf retic. If by just "dwarf retic", you mean a jampea dwarf then you will need something bigger like a 6' x 2'/3'.

Should have mentioned what brand of cage. Visions are the best IMO.
