Re: Boring photos
Rufio is GORGEOUS. Such neat colors. I miss my Cockatiel, she was such a great little bird, really hit my parents hard when she passed, especially since we never really understood why (but she WAS ill, we just don't know with what, we tried lots of treatments). She used to squawk like CRAZY when my mom came home but the poor girl never could sing. Once in a blue moon she would catcall. (Very different from the one my aunt used to have who talked plenty and whistled Reveille.)

Bojangles that's so sad about your tiel. Females generally don't sing so she was normal in that regard. But that's cute how she would get excited when you guys came home. I don't even want to think about how I'll be if/when these guys pass away. Misty goes to work with me often, and he's an attention whore. He rubs his head against my cheek if I'm not paying attention to him. -lol-
Rufio is my momma's boy. I'm the only person in the whole wide world that he'll let touch him. He gets so happy when I come home and makes these cute little purring noises, but if someone else so much as even tries to give him a treat, his eyes pin down to nothing and he goes into attack mode. He's really vicious!

Re: Boring photos
Buddy (creative, I know, plus she was sold to us as a boy) would pick up any chains/necklaces you were wearing and twirl your earrings. Really really cute. We figured out that she was a girl when she wouldn't even catcall. Then she started laying eggs HAHA. She died quite a few years ago now, one day we heard her just fall off her perch. She got back up and was a little strange and wouldn't really bear weight on one of her legs. We think she might have had a stroke. She stuck around for a few months, with different treatments, seemed to get better, then one day we found her on her cage floor, seeming peacefully asleep. I don't think she was in any pain towards the end, but it was sad, she was only 10 or so. Keep your guys safe and happy, they're beautiful birds. I might get my parents a new one sometime not too long from now.
