I like high white, spotless patterns. This is my girl.

The best thing about spiders is their personality. She is very curious and is always cruising. Eats like a champ too.

For me, spiders have to be spotless, either high white or low white, no orange(turns to brown, and brown makes brown bees, etc), and a nice even head pattern. I like their markings to be thin stripes too. I love bright, crisp-patterned, cleanly marked spiders. Took me forever to find the one I have Even though she has a defect, I like her just the same.

Re: alot of questions, and requests...

My personal favorite look to a spider would have to be high white with yellow/orange sprinkled/streaked in the existing white.

As for spots my Female Spider has one spot but with it makes a very cool marking. I don't see anything wrong with spotted spiders but in my "collection" I want to work with the reduced pattern look.

I love crazy head patterns too...That isn't a must but there's just something about a head pattern that makes me melt.

Just remember get what YOU like.

Oh and you better take lots of pics

Is that true? I didn't know that about the orange. Luckily mine doesn't have much, but I was planning to buy one with a ton of orange. If it turns brown and dirties up combos I'd rather stay away from them. I could have swarn I'd seen an adult with a ton of bright orange.

again, great information!! of course i would take a ton of pics but it would be a bit before we brought her home (payments) but at least i would have one or two pics of her either way tonight... i do like the high white the more i see it (its what gives a spider his/her look) becky yours is beautiful and i love what you described. i remember you talking about her defect, i have a knack for selecting defective animals hahaha.. good to know about the orange! I too like the thin lines. i cant wait to see what my guy has tonight!!!

thanks again everyone, i knew i could count on you all

For whatever it's worth, I don't know that I necessarily agree with that ... I've seen some high orange adult spiders that would blow your mind ... they produce bees with a florescent colored yellow that really pop ... not to mention what high orange spiders do when worked into a honey bee project ... WOWZERS!

Not saying that every spider with a lot of orange does (just like not every bright yellow pastel doesn't stay that way), but it sure makes me like the orange ones a lot.

Ah ok, I guess I meant to say I don't like dark brown spiders. They just aren't very attractive to me. If they keep those orange and yellow tones into adulthood, then I'm all for it I love speckles of color, SO pretty!

Re: alot of questions, and requests...

I like them high white or low white and am also partial to ones that are reduced pattern without spots. But one thing I've learned in this hobby is that everyone is different and I know people who appreciate the opposite characteristics in morphs that I do.

My favorite part of spiders has to be their head markings, second is a spotless reduced pattern and then a medium to high amount of white.

    My male spider...
