    Ticks

    Hi, a friend of mine bought a royal and it has 3 ticks.They are small and under scales.Its his first royal.I was looking at his royal today.Ive no experience with ticks thank God.Can anyone help me to help my friend.How will he get rid of the thicks.What are the best ways.Thanks.

    I am not sure what kind of product you find in the UK so I will not be able to recommend anything however are you sure those are ticks?

    If your friends BP has ticks I would highly recommend him to take him to an herp vet and have a fecal done.

    A wild caught BP with ticks is very likely to have internal parasites as well so a fecal should be done.

    Thanks.I live in Ireland.Its like in the stone age trying to get things sorted for reptiles.The reptile vets over here are brutal.
