Thanks, so limiting a 136 gram ball to a comfortable size mouse twice a week should be sufficient? And to what size would twice a week apply? If I have an aversion to feeding rats can I compensate with multiple mice?

    Re: Newbie question Re: eating

Twice a week in my opinion is a bit much, I feed babies once every 5 days.

If you did choose to feed twice a week, a mouse hopper would suffice. If not, a medium-large mouse would be fine.

And yes, you can compensate with multiple mice once the time comes.

By babies, how big of a BP are we talking? Mine is somewhat skinny at 19.5 inches (only 105 grams) should I be feeding more often? (Currently every 7 days)

Really depends what you are feeding. A BP that size could take a rat crawler every 7 days but if you are feeding mouse hoppers or small mice I would go 5. But at 105 if they want to eat every 5 I feed but I don't go real large in ratio with the snake.

I feed adult mice (about 18 grams each) every 7 days. Should I feed every 5-6 days?

I think you should watch your snake. If she's out at day 5 prowling around and looking hungry, restless, change it to five days.... it's really about reading your animals and deciding on their actions.

Yea, I've started noticing that after 5-6 days he hangs his head out so I decided to feed him after 6 days this time. He was definitely hungry Thnx for the advices and sorry for hijacking the thread lol
