There might not be anything wrong with him. I wasnt and dont think anyone else was saying that anything was. Its just good to Keep new snakes away from others just in case there is something wrong. If something pops up just get them into a vet.

If you care about the health of your animals - you DO have 90 days to wait. You can't be "pretty sure" he doesn't have anything. Are you hoping to sell his offspring? Because I don't know many people who will be willing to buy from you if they know that you put the rush to breed before the health of your animals.
I've got a mojave male - I'd LOVE to breed him. He's in Quarantine and he still has two more months to go. I know and trust the person I got him from - that still doesn't mean he's not in quarantine. ALL new animals - ALL of them should be quarantined, no matter who the source is.

There is alot of stuff to do before you can get babies. Getting an Incubator is a big one. Making sure the animals are ready to breed. Dont rush it and take your time learn all you can. Read everything you can. That way you will be ready for anything when its time to breed them. This is a great place to learn how to do things. There are tons of great people on here. Most of them are more than willing to help out. Just ask

You sound like you have a lot of basic husbandry that you need to get down before you even think of breeding. Take the next year and learn from the members here. Breed next year if you still want to. Besides just putting snakes together, you need to have an incubator, a thermostat to run that incubator, baby tubs to set the babies up in, another thermostat to run the baby rack, you need to learn how to start new hatchlings on food - just the questions you're asking here are very basic questions that someone going into breeding should already know.

Yes, you should still quarantine. And keep an eye on the female to make sure she doesn't get sick in case he is carrying anything (like mites).

Re: Pls Help Me Look At This Pic
Well im no expert on things balls can get. How much contact one needs with another to catch it. That I will have to leave for someone else. I would think (not 100% sure on this) but the longer he is in with her. If he does have anything the better the chance of her getting it would be. As for next year if you want to breed there is tons of info on here about breeding. Study up learn all you can in that year. Then make sure you have everything you will need when/if you breed. Incubator, cages for the babies. Like said in an earlier post or your other post. There is alot more to breeding than just putting to snake together. Im sure some people on here can point you to a few good books. A year is a long time you have more than enough time to learn what you need to and be ready for it. Things you might want to search for or ask about. Breeding, Incubation, proper care of the animals so they are the right weight and healthy for breeding. Just hang out here on bp.net for a year. Im sure you will be ready by then. Take care have a good night im off to bed.
