    for these i used the incamera flash, my 18-55mm lens on the canon rebel xti. I can include settings too if you like, just let me know. I set her on top of a white towel that was drapped over my frog enclosure to give it a smooth surface.. not that you can see the white but i think it helped with metering.

    awe thanks everyone for the kind words.. really! Im flattered. I got the camera knowing very little about it, read the manual and practiced my arse off.. its taken a year to get the photos i get today, really its something everyone can do.

    Reedic, thanks so much! I really enjoy having the website.. i dont post the snake pics there because my family visits that site often and they are DEATHLY afraid of snakes..

    Joanne, No problem I have family in Toledo.. too bad i havnt been there in some 10yrs though!
