    Question about bright yellow poop?

I just cleaned my snakes cage and when I picked up his poop I notice there was a bright yellow popcorn looking think at the end of it. Is this bad? What is it? I know they pee, poop, and the other thing is supposed to be white and I have found that around the cage but not bright yellow. Any comment's would be nice....Thanks!

Yes that was the word I was looking for! But not really my question. I have seen Urates that are white but not bright yellow. Was just curious if bright yellow meant something and if it was bad?

I'm not sure what the color means, but some are white, some are yellow. Nothing to worry about.

Re: Question about bright yellow poop?

Yup. I see urates that are white, or yellow, or sometimes a pale green. As long as it's all coming out normally, I don't worry about it.

Yup; sounds like normal variables on urates. Don't worry.. you're not alone. My brother-in-law thought that his BP's urate, was Eggs..!

I just found the same thing in my snakes cage. I wouldn't worry, except that she has been REFUSING to eat for about a month now. She usually eats every week and would get a little grumpy if I was even a day or 2 late. She ate 3 mice the last couple of times I fed her, which was even more than normal. I got her to eat only one mouse about a 4-5 weeks ago, but she won't eat anything since. any ideas?

    Thanks!
