Re: Anyone know the details of the 48-year-old BP?
As I understand it from the Barkers Book, it was owned by a Zoo somewhere in Tennesee?
(I am basing this off of memory, so someone please feel free to correct me)

The info is on the Barkers' site.. I think on the ball python care sheet. I just ran across it the other day.

I'm almost positive that it was owned by the Houston Zoo in Texas. It was a small adult when they got it in, so it is assumed that the snake was roughly 50 years old when it died. I believe that was the oldest living snake ever recorded.

Oops. Wrong Zoo. But everything else I said was right. I think I broke even on this one.
