Price of taking bp to the vet

I bought him at a Petland and they said it was probably a male because they had a male and a female. One was bigger and tended to bit. I picked the smaller one which is really friendly, he/she even lets me pet their head. So far I have assumed it is a male bc they tend to be smaller and in some cases more friendly.

you should never allow size and shapes to determine sex its not a guarunteed(sp) way. IE: my bp was a female and i thought it was a male. But like i said they should be able to sex it for free.

My Vet charges $35 for an office visit/health exam. But that exam always leads to additional fees/services.

My vets office charges $35 for the visit and the fecal is included!
Or $15 for the fecal.

I just called the only Herp vet in my area(1 hour away) ,Dr.Foote ,and the price for an exam is....are you sitting down....$84.20 and the Fecal exam...$29.30 more...PLUS TAX!!!!!..I wonder if sexing costs extra??
Hope sizzle never gets too sick...I will have to take out a second mortgage!!!

So how does $35 sound to you now??? lol

My Vet charges $20 for Check Up and he does a fecal too. No extra charge unless I need Meds. He also tries to teach me how to do everything on my own so I never have to come back for the same thing. He is a really cool guy.

Just got back from the vet. 60$ for the physical examination and 30$ for 2 types of fecal tests. Grand Total 95$
Good thing she's healthy haha!
