The Ball Python Care Sheet advises the following temperatures:
~80F (ambient temps)
~90F (basking temps)
75 or below is unhealthy
90-95 hot side is good, so I’ve read. However, what about the inside of the hides? What is an acceptable ‘hot’ and ‘cool’ temp for those? I don’t want to turn my hot-hide into a little oven! When I had the hot-side ground temp at 90, the inside of the hot-hide was at 100. Is that normal?

However, I just wanted to make sure that 100F isn't too hot inside that little plastic hide he seems to love so much (and I would expect him to).

I have mine at 92-93 as well.
