Welcome to Texas..where you might get blacklisted.

recently my university newspaper did an article on this. I tried finding it, but this was all I could come up with.
Only in Texas could something like this happen. I think...
    its crazy.
i havent seen anyone already post about this, but if they have, i apologize for the repetition.

Garter Snakes, Cornsnakes, Pet Mice, and More Banned in Texas!

Re: Welcome to Texas..where you might get blacklisted.

There's a discussion over at www.cornsnakes.com about this very thing. One of the members has actually been in contact with the head of whatever comitte authored this bill. Apparantly it was a mistake including some of the animals on the black list. I know that corns snakes were not supposed to be on there. They're planning on fixing it in the next session, but that's not for a while apparantly.

Right now it's sort of a legal limbo, so who knows. I mean, someone like Don Soderberg breeds corns for a living in TX, as do many pet shops sell them. So we'll see. Right now, I'm going to continue to keep and breed them...

    Here's a link to a more indepth discussion: http://cornsnakes.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=texas
