I've never heard of that but it certainly doesnt sound good. How long has it been there, or when did you notice it?

Thank you for the reply. I just purchased him yesterday and after letting him settle for a day to lower the stress. When expecting him a little while ago I then took notice of the small bump.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help!!!

when you say "internal" what do you mean? Is it right under the skin?

yes that is what I ment by internal. I took him to my vet today, he said that is nothing to worry about. He said that it really feels like it is just apart of his scales, he said it a little more scientific, but I told him just to summarize it for me. So he is going to be fine. Thank you everyone for their help.
