Some people favor reduced patterns...some people really love the busier patterns. There's no "right" or "wrong" or "better" or "worse" when it comes to ball python looks! We each love what we love.

It's a personal preference. Nothing makes me drool like a nice reduced pattern. Nothing makes someone else drool like an interesting busy pattern.

Old photo, but I think Issa stands out a bit in the normal bucket

I found it interesting that he got lighter as he got older...and then reached a tan m&m color...which is apparently not a standard m&m color anymore.

Reduced pattern or not, it is a personal preference, I like reduced pattern the best the only problem is that Robin has all the best looking ones

Cool. I guess Snakey would be considered busy then. I like the intricacy of Snakey's pattern. Then again, the simple, bold shapes of the reduced pattern is very cool too.
Schlyne: very cool. I especially like the very spotted neck!
Snakey has actually been getting darker with age. And, he's starting to get some fairly pronounced blush spots. I'm really excited to see how those develop. Ever since rabernet put of pictures of hers, I've been keen on the whole blush thing.

I LOVE "busy" patterns I'd say Snakey's pattern is busy, and that she is beautiful. My Auryn is a busily-patterned snake, too. I had the choice between him and several beautiful reduced pastels at NERD, but I chose him. In part, because he had a sweet disposition and in part because of his awesome "busy" pattern
Later on down the road, I'll likely include a reduced-pattern animal or two in my collection, because they're just as interesting and unique as the busy ones!
