Kaiju movie fans?

Just an idle curiosity, and if there's already a thread, my greatest apologies (and please point me to it!), but does anyone else here indulge in the guilty pleasure of watching kaiju (怪獣) movies?

The favorite around here is the little lady with the pretty wings and her own twin cheerleaders, Mothra (in all her forms).

(I've actually added to the collection since this was taken, a plush Rainbow Mothra and a large Armor Mothra among others. And yes, I know those stickers are of butterflies! )

Followed close by King Ghidorah, Rodan, Mechagodzilla, and Biollante (because she's just STRANGE). I like the later Godzillas as he began to look more reptile and less... dude in a rubber suit.

I am hardcore into kaiju films. I have some version of just about every kaiju film ever made. I think my favorites areGodzilla (of course), King Ghidorah, Biollante (she should have been in more movies), and Legion from Gamera 2. If you've never seen the Gamera trilogy from the '90s...wow. Escpecially Gamera 2 and Gamera 3, these are the best kaiju films ever. I also can't wait to see the new American kaiju film coming out on 1-18-08 from J.J. Abrams. That's the monster movie trailer that played before Transformers. I hope it outdoes the piece of $%*& American "Godzilla" movie.

my favorites from the kaiju movies are Godzilla, king Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Spacegodzilla, Destroyah, Monster X, Kaiser Ghidorah and the Gamera Movies. My myspace page(on my sig) has a bunch of Godzilla stuff.

i knew that was some sort of monster movie!!! i thought it was gonna be some other godzilla movie but the roar was different but i cant wait to see what it's about!!
