i've had my ball python, Aspen for a little over a month now and everything has gone perfectly. i didnt know when she'd last shed when i got her so i assumed it would be sometime within the next month because she looked so brilliant when she first came home with me. she's been a picturesque pet and i couldnt ask for anything more with her. she takes her F/T mice like a champ and dosent mind being moved back into her enclosure after feeding. ( i feed her in a seperate container since thats what the breeder did and i use loose substrate ), she's more docile than my dogs and has helped a lot of my friends and housemates over come their fear of snakes, she poops like something 2x her size ( lol ) and now, has finally had a FULL complete one piece shed! her first shed ever in my care. i was so happy. everything came off, both eyecaps, tailtip and no whistling sounds. she's so pretty today. Tomorrow her box will get a nice cleaning since the humidity was high for her shed.
i just wanted to share my happiness with everyone on the forum who has helped me out. ive gotten almost all of my information from here and everything has turned out great. Thanks!
Im going to photograph parts of her shed within the next few weeks. Ill post some here when im done, as well as some new pictures of her.
