Still soaking and small poos
It's been a week since I applied the PAM, and she still soaks occasionally. I found her in the bowl just this morning. Now, I didn't see any black specks in the water this time, but I did find that her last night poo was in small pieces. Could this be constipation and thus the reason she's still soaking?
Also, I get rather confused at shedding signs with her because she displays them for so long before actually shedding. Last time, her belly had the pink tint and her eyes were cloudy for 3-4 weeks before she actually went blue and shed. Well, now she's showing the signs of pink belly and cloudy eyes again. So the soak could also be to increase hydration for shedding... Her temps are good, 82/93 with @53% low end (after misting 71% that drops back down) humidity.
So... what could be going on here? Shedding? Dehydration/constipation? Still getting rid of mites? Or a combo of all? Any input would help a lot. Thanks.

Re: Still soaking and small poos
Well my snake always soaks when he sheds, even with humidity at 70%. He sits in his water until he gets cold then goes into his warm hide until he gets too warm. Then back into the bowl. Rinse and repeat.
If you sprayed PAM I doubt it is mites. I sprayed it and the next day all mites were dead. Havn't seen them since.
I am not that experienced, but if the snake is constipated it wouldn't be pooping I wouldn't think. The fact that it is we make me not worry about it.
How are you keeping humidity in your tank? In my tank when I misted I had it set up so it stayed at 70ish% the rest of the day.
Its probably just shedding.

From what I've heard they will shed after the mites have been treated. Kind of the snakes finishing touch in the cleansing process.
