    Guyane Red Tail Boa?

    Hi ,
Are these easy boas for beginners?
Can you advise me on a boa that is good for beginners, a friend of mine is suggesting to trade with me my baby burmese python for a one year old red tail one ...
Have been ready a while about them , but safer to ask experts here.
    Thank you.
    All the best.

    Re: Guyane Red Tail Boa?

Guyana's are a little pickier in their requirements than Columbians. But, if you set them up right, they can be a great boa to keep.

What's your set-up going to look like?

Check out www.riobravoreptiles.com They have a lot of awesome information on locale boas.

EDIT: Their care is similar to Suriname's (they're very close to being the same boa... just differentiated by state borders)
