    Hatching Pictures

Well, they're all hatched/hatching. As of 11pm last night the first Het Albino came out of its egg. Earlier today the others began to push their way out... and of course didn't even use the slits I so painstakingly made for them, lol.

Anyway, hope you all take a little pleasure in my joy. This is a first for me

The first three are from 11pm last night

This next one is from this morning at 7am

    And at 5pm

And finally at 10pm they had all pipped!

And you know... they might have all come out Het Albino (therefore proving once and for all that the female was just a normal and not a het), but I'm still freakin' stoked!

Congrats! Have you bred this female before? She could still be a het - sometimes you just miss the odds.

Congrats Ken. As alice stated, I would try her again next year, just to confirm that she is truly a Normal. You could have missed. They look great. Have you sexed them yet?

Yeah, I'll no doubt breed her next year too.

And sex ratios... judging by the shape of their noses, I'd say I have 0.0.4, LOL

I haven't touched any of them yet, not even the one that already came out. Geez, I just realized I haven't looked in on them yet today! *brb*

    Re: Hatching Pictures

I went through the same thing this spring. I got a 04 het from a friend that got her from a breeder that no one ever heard (Makes me very skeptical). We bred her to my albino and no visible albinos. This could be really bad odds, but 6 hatchlings with a 50% chance per egg seems very unlikely(but still possible). She does have some granite like speckling which proved to be genetic and other wise is great snake. Still love the babies and I have held back 2 females. My other het from a trusted breeder never took
There's always next year! best of luck with all your projects.

That sucks! I'm glad the female has other things going on.

Awesome! This has to be the best feeling in all of breeding; seeing those little faces in the eggs looking out at you.
