It could be retained eye cap. Did your BP shed recently? Do you know if he sheded completely?

Or it can be due to low humidity, make sure to have 50-60% at all time and make sure you measure your level with a digital hygrometer for accuracy.

    Re: help!!

Try adding a humidity hide (one with some damp but not wet moss in it), or you could switch your substrate to something like cocunut fibers which really hold in the humidity. Or move your water dish closer to the hot side.

What do you use for an enclosure??? If you're using a glass tank with a screen top you can try taping some of it closed (check out the sticky on tank enclosures on the BP Husbandry section). If you're using a tub try taping up some of the holes.

I have a zoo med analogue humidity guage that has been stuck on 60 since the day I bought it. My other analogue states 34 at the moment, and my digital is stating 32... The analogues are really difficult to trust, and the sticker label type ones are even less reliable.... Lol... I should post a pic of the two beside one another just to demonstrate how unreliable they can be.

Yes, the dimpling would be from low humidity, so what you need to do is to bump up the humidity and the dimple should be gone in her next shed.

Also, on the analog versus digital situation, do you have a digital thermometer atleast? Here is a pic from a set-up that a friend of mine had set-up with analogs and was experiencing problems with his bp that later had to be put down. When I brought a digital to double check the temps, this is what it showed... (the black stick-on thermometer showed 88 warmside temps, while digital max'd out at 120)

    Re: help!!

I ended up posting the pics I joked about anyway, because I felt left out for not doing it... But just to demonstrate how unreliable the non-digital gages are take a look at this thread:
