Good news day!

Today was one of those days you just have to celebrate! When I came home from work, I found our female spider had laid 4 nice eggs. I'd about given up on her laying this year. I hope to hear some bee's buzzing in about 58 days . . .


Then I opened up one of our egg boxes in the incubator and found all 6 babies had made it out of their eggs during the day. 2 normals, 2 black pastels and 2 black pewters!
I am soooo excited! Here are pics of one of the black pastels and one of the little silver gems of a pewter.







These are the first pewters we've produced. They are so amazing looking. I can't wait to see them after their first shed.

Congrats Alice. I love Pewters, and those are no exception. I was hoping to make some this year, but the female didn't cooperate. There's always next year. Congrats on those beauties, I'm so green.
