    Huge mouse!

So my girl has been eating fine and still is. But i normaly go to the pet store and just ask for a mouse and normaly they give it to me and is basicly just right...well last week was a bit small but i wasnt to worried knoiwing shes still eating fine even if they prey might be a little small. This week i go in do the usual just a mouse and they had a new girl she asked what size and honestly im not sure what theyve been giveing me so i just told her a normal adult mouse should be fine well by god she gave me the biggest mouse i have ever seen and of course i didnt look at it there so i get home drop it in and as always two seconds later my snake is coiled around it well when she uncoiled i saw just how big it really was. She is about 20" long and basicly by what i can see perfect with wheight...not triangular at all and this mouse left a pretty big lump in her...dont think shes gona eat next week...of course ill try but i just dont know. I mean she could barely move and when i put the half log over her she just went completly under it...didnt even bother trying to get into either of her hides just sat under the log.

But Basicly can over eating like this be bad? like can she get stretched to far or anything?

She should be fine.. just be sure you don't handle her at all until the lump is no longer visible. You may want to just skip a week feeding.

this reminds me of a story I read about a boa that was loose and got into a fenced in area with guinea pigs and ate two of them and couldnt get out because its body was stuffed.
    heh heh
Your snake will be fine, it probably just got sleepy like we do after a big thanksgiving dinner, the kind where you rub your tummy sitting in a chair and start to doze......heh
