are there any Rodent suppliers that...

Hey everyone. I just wanted to ask and see if anyone is aware of a frozen rodent supplier that sells them in small quantities (ie, 10 or 20). I am only going to be feeding on BP, and will be trying to avoid buying 100/bag when it's almost useless to do so.

What do our other BP members who raise BP's casually and only feed 1 or 2 BP's solution to buying feeders. Do they just buy live from a local pet store? I would do the same, but I am worried about their rodent upkeep and feeding, and they just might be plain dirty, and exposed to mites.

    Thanks for the click.

I too plan to use rodentpro. Even for rats they're less than $1 ea and can be bought in bags of as little as 25.

    www.rodentpro.com

    www.frozenrodent.com

I've bought from both places and am equally satisfied with both.

www.bigcheeserodents.com Don't buy from anywhere else, if your snake is bigger than pinkies, you can get rats in 20-25 rats per pack, and there air tight, so no freezer burn, better than RodentPro.

i get my rodents from local shows. there people will sell then in 25 count bags and such. it usually cost more per rodent, but with no shipping (just bring a cooler with ice) its even cheaper. i just picked up 50 pinkies, 50 fuzzies, 25 adult mice, and 3 small rats(a little trial freebe), and i only have 6 snakes. it saves me some money, and i have the freezer room.

www.aikenfeederfood.com ...is a good place small quantaties of 25 per pack and not to expensive.

www.themousefactory.com ....is another good one, know lots of breeders who use this one and lik it better then any other place they've bought from.

I've heard from many snake breeders that RodentPro's product is no good and you should order from somewhere else....I myself can't say their product is bad since i don't by my feeders from them...but i've heard from many others not to buy from rodentpro.
