    My first morph clutch

1.1 pastels, .1 normal. 3 went bad. I will have to fiddle with my incubator this summer for better performance. This nect year should be incredible for me, and I dont want to loose as many eggs as I did this year

Look at the difference between the 2 pastels' heads! She took 3 extra days to come out, but man oh man was she worth it.

    thanks for looking!

    Re: My first morph clutch

Congratulations! I'm sorry about the three that went bad, but 1.1 pastels out of 3 is still pretty darn good. A very nice looking pair, too.

Ooooh, congrats on those pastels! You're right, that one is just smokin hot, I love that high white spot on her as well. Is that called something? Anyone? Or just "high white spot"? lol

    Sorry about your bad eggs

They are beautiful! I especially like the light-headed girl of course.. it is cool that she's a female.
Sorry about the bad eggs. I know how it feels to have them go bad from probable incubator problems. But the ones that did hatch are awesome.

Congrats on that clutch. I like the one on the left in the first pic. Really cool pattern on that one. Sorry for the loss, but sometimes we just can't control it no matter how hardd we try.

    Re: My first morph clutch

Thanks a lot guys - I appreciate all your kind words! Hatching out my first clutch last year was amazing, but seeing those little pastel heads pipping out was simply incredible.

Muddoc - as much as I would like to think that loosing 8 out of 13 eggs wasn't my fault, I'm pretty sure it was. I think I know how I am going to fix it for next year, and I hope things go a little more smoothly - I have some high hopes for next season!!! I guess this is how we learn... still beat though.

The encouragement and understanding from this site is a big part of my life, and really helps me keep going. Thanks everyone!!!!

Congratulations on your beautiful hatchlings! It is difficult when we unknowingly make mistakes that cause harm to our animals - sorry about your loss.

Congrats man! Both pastels and normals look incredible! I hope to be in your shoes soon!

Just out of curiousity, what are you using to incubate?
