    Sunglow Genetics....?

I have read alot about RTB but I can't find much about the genetics. Not as much as Balls.

Does anyone know about the Sunglow's genetics? Is it also a double recessive trait like the Albino Hypo Ball??

In boas, the hypo trait is dominant and the albino trait is recessive.

    Re: Sunglow Genetics....?

Yes, a sunglow is an albino hypo... or a hypo albino

If you breed an albino and a hypo boa, you'll get kids that are DH Sunglow. You have to breed these kids together to get sunglows...

Pretty sure that's how it goes.

Or, you could get a couple of nice het albinos, a nice hypo, and have little sunglows in a couple generations or so.

    Re: Sunglow Genetics....?

I'd buy a dh sunglow male and two het albino females. Breed the male to both the females and have two litters that would consist of Sunglows, and 66% dh sunglows and het albinos.
