    Feeding Video

Hey i just thought i would share..

I know her tank looks empty but i take everything out usually during feeding because the rat likes to hide behind things and i dont want her to hurt herself trying to get to the rat. I put it all back after feeding.

it's so much easier when a feed goes perfectly like that, perfect strike on the head no problems

    Re: Feeding Video

They are stupid like that, aren't they. I'm not up to rats yet but every mouse so far has been totally oblivious. One time one looked like it was uneasy about that big thing in the corner - but he ran over to it anyway.

I like to feed pretty much just like that - a big open flat space with the snake in one corner and the mouse in the other. Before I had it down the mouse would run all over the place and the strikes were unpredictable. Now, I always get a solid strike in the forward half of the mouse which leaves the mouse in a position where it can only scratch with the back legs and can't bite. The claws have absolutely no effect on my BP.

    Re: Feeding Video

ok for feeding remove objects tht clumsy stricking by can hitminto... got it

its the way the rat went right up to the snakes nose and said 'hey wanna be freinds. gosh ur big and scary looking, err y you looking at my like tht' then BOOM snake is like 'yummmmmmy rat tonight. my fav.' then mouse retorts with 'o sh*t'

makes you wonder do animals have a large brian lol.
