As long as it's 100% aspen and no *fillers like pine* I think it should work fine.

Re: Does Anyone Use This Type of Aspen???
I have used it for almost every animal in the house, with the exception of the fish , and it's fine. No fillers or anything. The quality can vary though, I've noticed.

I think that's what I'm using...my wife get its for me from Tractor Supply. I use it on rodents and snakes in the winter. I use paper in the summer for the snakes.

Re: Does Anyone Use This Type of Aspen???
I used that brand once for my rats and hated it with a passion. The chips were so big it didn't absorb anything. Within a day the smell was horrid. I used the rest of the bag for mulch and went back to Kaytee brand...which for me is finely shredded and works well. I use it for my snakes as well.
Just my experience with the stuff.
