Dressage is just beautiful.. anyway you look at it. The horse and rider are both incredibly talented. I can't even imagine the amount of work and dedication it took.

All I do are a few jumps now and then, haha!

I saw this a few days ago, someone sent it to the yahoo horse list I'm on. That horse & rider were amazing!

That is the most amazing thing I have seen in a long time!! I'm not usually a big fan of the English style, it doesn't seem natural to me, but that is left to say after seeing that is...wow. I broke in my horse, and I can't even imagine what kind of work it would take to make a horse dance like that. ^_^

You would enjoy seeing the lippizan horses do their stuff.. they do even fancier stuff called the 'airs above the ground' that is breathtaking.

That is certainly one of the best dressage tests I have seen.. and a mare too! Amazing.

Yes, it's amazing in person. I go to the midwest horse fair every year.. it's a huge 3 day convention and exhibition.. you can see all sorts of different types of horses doing different things.. everything from the Budweiser clydesdales, to lippizans and andalusians doing the 'airs'.

Re: dancing horse leaves me speechless!

Dressage just stuns me. I know the amount of work alone that it takes to train a horse in simple western trail.. I have a lot of respect for any great, humane horse trainer, really; wow!
