    Bindi Irwin Special

Animal Planet is airing a one hour show called "My Daddy The Crocodile Hunter" featuring Bindi Irwin sharing memories of her dad and some behind the scenes things. It's on tonight at 9 p.m. EST (in about 10 minutes!). It's also scheduled to air tomorrow (Saturday) at 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. as well as on Monday at 1 p.m.

Steve Irwin was in my opinon the greatest herpetologist and i really enjoyed watching every show of his and even bought some videos. But Bindi annoys the heck out of me. anyone else feel this way?

Personally I adore little Bindi, she's a wonderful child whose growing up in a very public way and suffered the loss of her father at far too young an age. The show just ended and it brought me more than a few tears but a lot of smiles too.

    Re: Bindi Irwin Special

I really liked Steve and his family. I thought that he pushed Bindi on his shows a little too much, but I think he was just being a proud papa. I'm sure I would have done the same thing.

I think he brought a lot of herp awareness to the world and he will be missed. My only negative feeling is that it seems like Animal Planet is cashing in on his death a little too much. I remember seeing ads for a DVD of his memorial show several times, and I just found that a little tacky.

    Re: Bindi Irwin Special

I saw Bindi on the Mike and Juliet show the other day and she sang a song something along the lines of "My Dad the Croodile Hunter" It was soooooo sweet! I cried.

I think they (Mom and Bindi) are just trying to keep his memory alive.

yea the (t.v.) can go overboard...but it's better than hearing anymore about Paris Hilton!!!

Steve Irwin was and is the Man!

I adore Bindi - she's the most poised little girl and I think even at her young age understands the huge gift that she's been left by her father.

Jo - thanks for calling me - we were having a huge weather cell coming through when you called, but I did get to see it, and like you found myself crying as much as smiling at her memories!

Sweety, you can tape it Monday at 1 pm when it re-airs.

I plan to watch Bindi - The Jungle Girl at 5 today!
