    Update on the driving thing..

Well, it has been almost 2 weeks since I have started driving on my own. I really need to thank everyone for the words of encouragement you gave.. it is like every time I get behind the wheel, I feel more confident. I go to work and instead of being nervous about driving there, I am back to being nervous about work itself And when it is a quarter to, almost time to go home, I am literally jumping with anticipation to get out there and get home on my own volition!!
Granted, driving has taken a slight toll. I need to get up earlier, since I do not drive like Mark, who makes my 20-minute commute go by in 10 minutes, heh. I just don't take "risks" yet when pulling out into traffic like he does with his more experienced eye. And I do Not speed.. well, it is tough on the country-road type hills where you find yourself gaining momentum, hehe.
I need to reinstate; I wish that I did not wait so long to get a vehicle. But then again there were financial reasons.. but WOW, is this cool!

    Awesome!! You go!
You'll learn to guess when you can pull out, and I tend to be conservative when it comes to pulling into traffic(my truck only has 4 cylinders! LOL) but I tend to speed.
Yesterday and today both, I nearly had wrecks. One would have been my fault, the other would have not. Both avoidly adroitly, although the one involved pucker factor.
It's great that you're doing better, and you'll continue to do better and better! Soon you'll moan about how boring it is to have to drive places.
Honestly... I'm ready to BE home when it's time to go home. I don't want to GO home... I want to just poof!!! BE there. But then I'm driving over an hour to get home.
I hope to hear that you're doing great again soon!
Having the freedom to take yourself anywhere at any time is a WONDERFUL sensation!

Thanks! I have a little hair-raiser this morning; I was going along in the fast lane (speed limit 30 in town) and this huge car-carrier truck starts Backing Out of a dealership.. there was a big Dodge pickup right on my hiney; I could Not stop. Luckily there was nothing coming in the oncoming lane; I had no choice but to swerve into it a little as I passed. I haaaate when people need to ride yer ass.. there are cops all over and i love seeing people pulled over that moments ago flew past us lol.

are you talkin about the tractor? I would love to pull into work driving that, lol! I drive the Jeep daily.. but sadly the trac could only go roughly 40 mph.. might be faster getting a buggy to hitch one of the horses to

yeh yeh the tractor. i'm pickin on ya as usual. I'm glad to hear you're getting over your fears. Pretty soon driving will become very easy..just don't get too relaxed. that's how the accidents happen
