Yes; Emma (the white mare) is the leader. She is constantly on red alert. Cuesta used to be the lead mare, but she is so smart in my opinion, that she let Emma think she's in charge, because then she can relax more and not be paranoid.

Spring has got to be the best time to be a horse...weather is warmer, new yummy grass, flies aren't too big, winter coat sheds off....just need someone to bring you a carrot or an apple and you got it made!
