    rubber boa escaped

ok i have a rubber boa that is about 1 foot 6 inches and he got out last night. we have looked all over, under couches in the basement, in small warm dark places and we still cant find him. we have mainnly carpets so pouring flour on them realy isnt an option. please give me some ideas on how to find it.

    thanks

Have you check inside your couches?

Also if you have anything like desks or stands make sure to flip them and look up inside.

Look for anything that gives off heat. Not sure how much that tip will help though since rubber boas don't need much heat. My best advice, look at night, leave out food in a bottle trap, and put flour around the base boards to see if he is traveling. What also helps is to leave out a heat pad under the food or by it atleast. Also, every snake I have had get out has been found within a few feet of the cage. Remember that they can go anywhere that there head can fit, that being said, you have a lot of ground to cover

one of my friends just had this problem. he found it crawling out of a floor vent. so try taking the faceplates off vents and seeing if they crawl out of there.
    good luck.
