MLB team gives PHS $100,000
I just found out last week that the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation has awarded the Phoenix Herpetological Society (PHS) with $100,000!!!! They called it a Grand Slam Grant... PHS is using the money to purchase a custom trailer that will be used for reptile educational events. Last year we reached over 51,000 kids in educational shows. I cant wait to get this trailer to the facility!

That's quite the gift! I wish our team were called the Utah Gophersnakes instead of the Jazz, then maybe the UHA would get something like that!

Im really excited to see it. We'll have AC in it and I think that we are going to have everything permanent so that we can just throw all the animals in the displays... drive there.... and be set up. Although, I dont know if it will work because we would not have enough room behind the counters where the cages open to get the venomous snakes out.... esspecially the cobra. I dont know though, when we get it Ill snap some pictures and post them.
