Yesterday I fed everyone and Nugget, the little 06 amel corn ate his choice of a fuzzy mouse... I had a rat pinkie with it, but he never touches those for some reason... The fuzzy wasn't an inappropriately sized meal, it was the size of the rat pinkie... He usually eats thinner little mouse babies (not pinkies, but apparently not fuzzies- somewhere between), but eats about 3 of them... this one wasn't that big though like I said... He has a humid hide that I added a little standing water to the bottom of the cup with the moss in it... this morning he was in it. SUBMERGED in fact I have no idea how he was breathing... I thought he was dead! he was soooo cold too being in that water! I can't ever get him to soak when he's shedding he FLIPS out and won't stay in the water (I always make him a perch at shedding time so he can still take in the humid air) He has a water bowl big enough to soak in but not submerge... he often curls up in this cup in the humid hide, in fact I think he found a way to shed inside the cup (it's a little 3oz tupperware- I never figured out what cause we'd have for such a tiny cup- I eat ice cream out of them LOL) I took him out because I thought he was dead... placed him under his lamp for a bit (on top of the humid hide) but he's back in his hide now...
