For the camera experts ??
Okay, I am looking for a small compact camera that I can use. Something I can take down to the park with my kids without lugging my Canon eos and my lenses and all that fun stuff.
Problem is I am comparing everything to My Canon Eos. I shouldn't do that cause yeah, nothing can compare lol.
So Far I was Looking at the Canon Powershot 8 mega pixel, but the ISO is only 800. And Doesn't have an Image Stabilizer.
I was also looking at the Canon a570 IS which is 7.1 mega pixels but has ISO 1600 and Image Stabilizer.
So I am totally close minded here, I love canon, have always had canon and haven't taken any time to look at other brands.
SO If you have any recommendations for other brands that would be awesome, or if you have experience with either of the above cameras.
I want something, that is small, price really isn't an issue, that takes some good macro shots but doesn't have to be perfect for that. Just something for everyday use, but still worth the money I am paying for it. I also do alot of photo editing so I would like at least 7 mega pixels.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: For the camera experts ??
I don't know much about cameras, but I'm pretty happy with mine. I just have a little Canon Power Shot 630... it's only 6.0 mega pixels... but I just asked for one that had decent macro potential.... I can fit this little thing in my pocket! (But I do love the screen on this one)!
Grey Scale is a good thing...

I recommended a Canon PowerShot SD800 IS to my brother and he loves it and it works great. I've played with it several times and was impressed, plus you can set the camera to bark like a dog whenever you take a picture. That alone is worth getting it for.

I'd give this camera or this camera a look. The macro's okay—you can get about 1.6 inches away from the photo subject.
