Anyone suffer from migraines here?

hey, does anyone here get migraines?i get em constantly.pretty bad ones sometimes.been gettin em since i was 12.my brother gets them too.iv taken every painkiller i can name.,even the strongest ones that can be got her ein ireland.iv taken twice the recommended dose for some of my migraines and it still didnt go.

Yeah I get them super bad...throwing up the whole 9 yards...I always have
I've always found that aromatherapy and accupuncture work well....good luck to you...god it can be hell

yep,hell aint thw word for mine though,ii got one so bad once that i fell to the ground in agony with it,it only lasted 5 minutes but i puked my guts up after it, and after that i was fine but it was the worst one i ever got, i couldnt see or nothin.

i get them pretty bad sometimes and i really haven't found any medication as of yet that totally gets rid of them. usually i double up on the prescription med and then take advil on top of it--sometimes that does the trick but not always. it's pretty crazy how debilitating they can be, but luckily i don't get the really horrid ones too often.

A friend of mine had these for quite awhile until she went to go see her doctor. They did a sleep study and found some abnormal brain waves that indicated seizure-like activity. So she's on a seizure medication as well as lord knows what(Yay ADD/ADHD/wheel spinning but hamster is dead, etcetc). Seems to be helping as she doesn't have the headaches anymore or trouble sleeping.

Maybe ask your doctor?

i went to the doc a few years ago, gave me the stongest prescription painkillers. did nothin.usually get about 3 a month.my mate had them before,went to the doc and he had them so bad that the muscles round his ttemples had started to deteriorate badly coz of the migraines.
there s some herbal stuff you can get for them but i forget the name.it works pretty well.im gona look up on it and see what i can find on it.

Yeah I had undergone a mri and catscane because the thought it was a tumor..they also thought the ringing in my ears...insane nose bleeds for no reason and swelling behind my eyes was one...every time I go to the Dr. they think I have a tumor Still have yet to find the cause of any of the above problems :eek: ah well...we know it ISNT a tumor lol

i got a perferated ear drum,dont think its linked to the migraines though,iv had a hole in my right eardrum since i was 7 i think.i got a slight buzzin in it.

Yeah I can hear my pulse loud as hell in my left ear...I mean really I'm to young to be having these issues!!

i hate the pulse thing,everytime i lay down to sleep, all i hear is psh psh psh kinda sound, its annoying when trying to sleep or just relaxin, its only when its quiet i hear it.in only 24 and i got the problems of a 74 yr old.
