    tresspasser!!

OK.. I got home early from work today, and was out in the barn, filling the horses' water troughs. I was also cleaning their stalls, really focused on my work..
I go and look out into the pasture, and about 100 yards away, there's a PERSON standing there!! I was about ready to crap a brick, but I froze up in the shadows of the barn; the person walked up near the fence. I then decided to walk out and "show my face" so to speak.. the person began moving away from the fence at a fast rate, and started jogging away down the creekbed..
I snapped two shots of them, because I had my camera out for horse photos.. but I was intrigued. So I hopped onto my ATV to give chase; see, I have VERY bad eyesight, so the person was so far away they could have either been a 50-something man or a teenage girl for all I knew, lol! But the vegetation is sparse so I could track them..
I rode out maybe a mile into the hayfield, and they started BOOKIN' for the property line! I could only go so far, b/c stupid me forgot to fill the tank and it was on E and even a little sputtering.. luckily I made it back home.
Here are the shots; what kinda person does it look like to you? 20-30 something female? I hate to sound prejudiced but they definately "ran like a girl" which I know, males and females run differently..
So, I went home, refilled the tank, and drove a bit farther to the property line; I see my intruder about a quarter mile uphill playing with a dog at her house!! So it is a neighbor of mine that I have not met yet; I wish she just would have been nice and asked me to see the horses, and I would have even walked her into the pasture.. but I don't know what to do now.
They were playing with a dog; but I know that I had not seen the dog with them nearer to the house. So the whole "dog ran away" thing, I would not buy.
    Looks kind of feminine here..
A funny side note: she may have thought I was my landlord; see, we are kind of infamous here for shooting a lot, and blowing things up.. I guess I would have ran too..

Hmmm... strange. If you're sure that it was your new neighbor (or even if you aren't sure), why don't you go up and introduce yourself, and then ask her if she was on your property? At least you'll get an idea of what kind of person she is and what her motives may have been.

Edit: BTW, I don't know why but that picture reminds me of the famous Big Foot picture that you always see.

JK I don't know what that is! It's hard to see! Really damn shady that they took off on you like that... if I were on my neighbors property and they saw me, I'd try to play it off and make conversation... granted I'm not the tresspassing sort LOL... hope it's all good though and you're not in danger!

First let me say that was a really dumb thing to do. You are very fortunate that the person (who you couldn't really see) didn't have a gun and didn't have plans to rob (or worse) hurt you and/or your horses. In the future stay home and call the police it isn't worth your life to see what is up. OK off my soapbox.

It is really hard to tell from the photos. At first I would agree they look female from the hair but the build seems more male. But with the way kids dress these days who knows. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Kids? that kinda looks like my uncle's wife from the back, but then again she looks like a Nebraska Huskers player/ Larry the Cable Guy in his younger days with a dark mullet...

If it's a she it's definetly a manly she. That creeps me out. A couple of weeks ago a UPS driver parked in our front yard for half an hour, no package, no nothing. Just tire tracks in the grass, and scaring the crap out of me.

Go over and say hi. Then politely ask what the hell she was doing in your yard. LOL
