    The Big Cheese

Last week I purchased 100 adult mice from The Big Cheese Rodent Factory in Ft. Worth. (Thanks, Becky!)
I don't know what their packaging or quality is like on the frozen rodents, because I was able to buy live, since I was picking up. The mice are all great looking, clean, and healthy. Not a single one has died, except the ones I fed off this week of course. I've had them drop dead during the half-hour pre-scenting time when I've bought from my local pet store, so I'm impressed, haha!

The people were great, they do ask for a 24 hour notice for pickup orders, so there was zero waiting time. We just went in, paid, and walked out with rodents. Oh, and we did need to bring tubs to carry them home in, no big deal.

I'm wanting to build Tim Bailey's rodent rack so I can start picking up 200 per trip. This is saving me major bucks as is!

    Re: The Big Cheese

After ordering from almost every frozen rodent vendor out there, Big Cheese is my #1 choice. Their quality is the best out there. All rodents are vacuum packed on styro trays. They are clean and healthy looking. Chad and the folks over there get it done every time!

Thanks for adding that, Jamie! I felt bad for not being able to give a review on the frozen end, since that is what they ship out. I was very impressed with the facilities and the people!

Sarah, that's awsome. And, when you get ready to build that rack, let me know, and we'll help you along the way. Racks are awsome space savers (and money savers) when it comes to housing rodents and snakes.

    Re: The Big Cheese

Sarah, I must put in my as well.

I have been buying frozen from Big Cheese for a few years now and would not do business with anyone else. If there has ever been a problem, they called me up and let me know.

Agreed with Mpenn. They are a great company and I would probably use them over rodent pro b/c of my last order's problems

Cool, Tim! Jeff asked for the link to your instructions today so he could put together a shopping list for this weekend, so we will probably be building it next weekend. I'm really excited about this, as right now I have a sunroom covered in rodent tubs, haha.
I'll tell him to give you a shout before we get started, for any tips
