    Gator question

So I've had this guy for a while, he's two years old, plus or minus a few months, and he's a little over two feet long. I recently moved him into a new enclosure, nice amount of water, and a compilation of concrete blocks for him to bask if he so chooses. He hasn't been basking lately though, but more so just hanging out in the shallow water. Any ideas? Is it just the acclimation process of switching cages, and if so, when should I feed him again? I'm thinking about posting some pictures soon too, if anyone would want to see anyways
    Well that's interesting...

    Re: Gator question

Temperature in the night is around 75-78 and in the day it's around 84 or so and the basking place is obviously a bit higher. Any good?
    Well that's interesting...

Good advice for a ball python..

But I think he's talking about an alligator. Or is the name of your ball Gator?

I wish I could help ya, but I don't know a thing about keeping 'gators. They're amazing animals though, and I'd love to see pics!!

Maybe you could shoot an e-mail to NERD and ask?

    Re: Gator question

There are a few lame-o pictures in my gallery, but it's funny I just went and checked up on him and turns out he's basking in all of his gator glory. Just a soaking spree I'm guessing

What is the water temp. if it is warm water there is no need for him to bask, or if the water temp is about the same as the air, there wouldn't be a reason go him to get out. Just my
