    New python best quarantine methods?

I just got a call form a girl I know that has a baby python that I sold her maybe 6 months ago. She is moving and cant take the snake with her, so I said I would take it. Im getting a 40 breeder and all supplies along with it. My Bp I have now has a slight RI and am treating her for it. I obvisouly dont want the new snake to catch it. Im going to place the new tank in a different room. As long as I wash my hands good after handling each snake is there much risk of spreading the infection?

There shouldn't be as long as you use other quarantine procedures such as sterlizing any equipment you may use... forceps, water bowls, hides, etc that may be shared.
