Surprise shed!

okay last night (around 2 am) i noticed that my snake went into his hide on the cool side, which he never goes on only unless it gets really hot, however the temp was only less than 92 degrees (humidity was around 40-45%)... so i thot maybe hes exploring.... so i left him in there and went to bed... when i woke up, i went to go check on him and i was surprised to see that he shed!!... right now hes still in there and his shedded skin is sitting at the front of the hide... im just wondering:
1) should i take out the shedded skin??
2) i was going to feed him today but since he shed, i guess not... How long should i wait to feed him???
3) since i didnt mist at night (had no idea he was going to shed)... should i do it now and bump the humidity up to 70%??

1) yep I'd take it out and inspect it to make sure it's all there including both eyecaps.
2)If the skin is all off and you dont need to do anything else I can't see any reason not to go ahead and feed him - just remember to plan ahead as you then shouldn't disturb him for at least 48 hours after the feeding.
3)Not unless there are parts of the old skin still stuck to him.

i just check up on him and theres only a small piece of skin still attached to the tip of his tail, looks like it will come off soon so ill just leave... and thx for clearing that eating part up !i was just worried about him not being able to eat because of his new skin
