Should I try the calci-sand again with my rosies?
Since my Bonnie passed, I have this huge EMPTY glass enclosure of a showpiece dividing my ginormous living room. I think I wanna put rosy boa into it, and "trick it out" with a cool desert scene/natural habitat. I have used calci-sand in the past, but have lost a baby rosy from impaction by it. It would look super cool and natural lookin', but I'm afraid to use it again on any of my adults. i have since then switched to crushed walnut, which works great, but particle size is bigger, and doesn't look quite as nice as the sand does. Any suggestions?

Re: Should I try the calci-sand again with my rosies?
I'd suggest the fine particle play sand from Home Depot/Lowe's/Local Garden Supply Store, etc. Doesn't form cement when it gets wet and it's pretty safe. I know I ate a good bit of it when I was younger
