Re: She ate for me!!
Very nice looking girl!
As for eating, keep in mind that the mouse/rat should be slightly smaller than her largest section...if that is what you fed then perfect (if a lot smaller than her you might consider 2 mice).
As for her being active after eating several of mine are too...IMO feeding puts them in the mood so they "look around" for more just in case. Mine usually settle down 10-15 minutes later and start the digesting.

She looks nice. Just a reminder though when feeding live to set the prey down away from the snake and just let it wander about. This gives the snake time to set up it's strike. Putting a live prey down right in front of the snake can lead to a problem or the snake startling away from the mouse/rat. Best to put the live prey as far from the snake as the tub allows and just let nature take it's course.

Re: She ate for me!!
I agree with Joanna on the advice on the live feeding (we both feed live as well).
She has a very clean belly! And I love her reduced pattern!! I have a girl that looks very similar to her.
Congratulations on your first feed!

Ah, thanks. She was in her hide, and I put the mouse in front of the hide...but it wasn't right on top of her or anything. I'll try that next time, though. I didn't want to leave the mouse in there for too long....it was really interested in the wires to my thermometer.

Is that a normal? it looks like an above average spider, but if it is a normal is is smokin!

She was sold to me as a normal. What do you mean by 'above average'? She is a sweet little thing, what ever she is. I weighed her today too...right about 255 grams. She is about a year old, from what they told me. ^_^
