    I couldn't resist!

I got a new girl, I got a new girl! I'm thinking Twix is a name that suits her, but not sure yet. Pictures coming soon, but she's a chocolately, caramelly hooded girl (they had two blue hoodeds, but they were spastic, so I passed). Let me get her set up in her quarantine tank, and then snap a few photos. And she has the softest fur, but she's not a rex, it's hard to describe, the texture of the hair feels thinner and fluffier than any of the others. More similar to rabbit fur.

OK, here are the pictures of little Twix (although other name suggestions are welcome, because I'm not "sold" on Twix yet). And Becky, what long named type would you call her?

Hmmmm....this doesn't look like the food I had at PetSmart!

She looks like a cute little mink hooded, definitely young though.

    Hope you are quarantining her!

    Re: I couldn't resist!

So Becky, you think she'll darken up into the mink color? I thought she looked more like a lilac, because I'd describe her color as almost a grey/brown. The pictures are pretty accurate in her colors and I believe her eyes are ruby. Doesn't she look the same color as the lilac on this page:

    Re: I couldn't resist!

Check out this lilac hooded on the AFRMA site, pretty close color match I think to your female Robin. They do note that eyes can be either ruby or black for this color.

She's just so much lighter than all my minks, and with three breeding female minks I get a lot of minks LOL.
