    introduction

hey guys yall can call me ammo. i just wanted to introduce myself and banter i guess. im relitively new to the herp thing even though i have lived in the woods catching snakes my whole life. the chance came up when this kid i worked with just off handidly says "want a snake?"....the conversation went as such:

    "a snake?"
"yea its a burma" (it was a ball python btw)
    "why?"
    "it dont do nothin"
"what do you want it to do roll over? its a snake!"\
    "25 and its yours"

almost a 2' snake and he only fed it a pinkey every three weeks....it looked like a pencil! i felt so bad for him i had to take him home

monty now resides in his warm 20L with a very interactive environment and since being fed regularly with rat pups he had not only caught up in growth to where he should be but now he is at a healthy weight for his length...no more spine sticking through! ^_^

last week i had one more adition to my family...a 1000g female named Aiko...she is my darling! i was lucky to find her being taken care of wonderfully by her breeder josey arcay. her cage need its own set of thermometers and humitity controle still but i have to wait till i get paid next week...what a sweety though! all add pics when im not working.

    Welcome to the forum!

It's nice to hear a story with a happy ending. I'm glad you were able to take in the snake and care for it properly. Look forward to seeing those pics.
