    Welcome to the BP.net!

I'm guessing you have a ball python... if not please do state what kind of snake you have. Why do you want to switch her over to live when she is taking f/t fine? It's a lot easier to buy already frozen mice and just store them in your freezer then going to the pet store every week to just get a live mouse. Less waste of time & gas!

    Re: frozen to live mice

I moved this thread out of the "Suggestions" forum and into General Herp...since I'm not sure what kind of snake you're talking about.

If it IS a ball python, then fuzzy mice are way too small for it anyhow. You could easily feed it an adult mouse at this stage.

Its is a ball python so you think that adult mice will be ok for it right now?

Yea an adult mouse should be ok, you could also feed two hoppers instead. I'm betting your feeding a f/t adult already. So you could stay with that size.

Fuzzies are small considering that an hatchling is usually get started on hopper mice.

Try to feed a prey slightly smaller then the girth size hopper with definitely be fine adult maybe hard to tell not being able to see the snake.
    Do you know her weight?
