Belly heat, heat panel or both

I am going to order a new cage for my JCP from Animal Plastics this week. The cage measurements will be 36H x 24D x 36L. I would like to use a heat panel for it since my JCP is constantly on his branches. The question is would you recommend both heat sources or will the heat panel be plenty?

Re: Belly heat, heat panel or both

I just ordered a Pro Products heat panel for my AP T-10 cage, and it should be here fairly quickly so I'll let you know how well it works when I get it. I have the AP belly heat cable now and it works well but doesn't do much to keep the ambient air temps up.
