Re: Introducing.....Buddy!
He's sure a cutie but then all of Adam's babies are! Can't wait to get some pics of Mikey with him in his very cool 8Ball t-shirt. By the way Adam, your t-shirts are the "in" thing in our house. I swear all the family wants to buy more snakes from you just to get the shirts LOL! Just peeked in to check on Buddy and he's propped up on his hide looking around. I have a feeling he'll be a super eater just like Malachi is and we've some yummy fuzzy rats that have his name on em!

Re: Introducing.....Buddy!
I think Buddy is about the coolest name ever for that little guy ... among all the visible morphs that I'm holding back in my baby racks that little guy held his own and was my little buddy here at the shop ... I'm wicked stoked that he gets to go to such a good home!
I am honored to be able to put a smile on Mikeys face with an animal that I produced.
And FWIW, I can't spell Wysocki either most days ... Buddy is a much better choice.
Thank you Jo, Mike, and Mikey ... I know you guys will give my little boy a great home!

Re: Introducing.....Buddy!
Awww now I'm all misty eyed Adam! We're honored to give him a lifelong home and we know Mikey will enjoy him as much as Luke and Beth enjoy their own "personal" snakes. It's a wonderful thing to watch a child interact with such a beautiful creature, learn about it and respect it for it's uniqueness as a pet. We had intended to keep Mikey home today to receive this special package but since he just started his new school yesterday, we had to send him this morning (he was LESS than impressed LOL). I know though when he gets home today he'll want to go see his Buddy boy right away.

Re: Introducing.....Buddy!
Oh, before I forget ... there is a good chance that he may actually be a 100% Het VPI Axanthic ... his mom was a 100% het axanthic that was doing absolutely zippy with my axanthic male last breeding season ... November, December, January ... nothing ... then I started running one of my het male axanthics with her and they locked up every time I paired them up ... once her follicles got fairly large I started putting my axanthic male back in and they started finally locking up as well ... The ratio was out of 6 eggs; 4 axanthics and 2 normal looking animals (that I labeled 66% possible hets) ... the ratio of axanthics to normal looking animals and the late copulations with the axanthic male could mean that he was the sire and that the normal looking babies are 100% hets, but without knowing for sure I couldn't label them as anything other than possible hets.
Not sure if that matters much at all, but that's the background on that boy.

Always nice to know hon and thanks. I've labelled him a 66%er for now and he's just meant as a beloved pet anyways but heck if Mikey wants to try him down the road with a 100% female and see what happens, we're all for that. Luke and Beth have both started the planning stages for breeding their own snakes at least once, so if Mikey wants to try this as well some years down the road that's fine with us. We love baby snakes be they hets, morphs or normals!
