    Some crappy pics of my boa

    Sorry these are such crap pics.... I'm still learning how to use the camera. Any tips for some better pics???

    any idea as to why the first and last one turned out orangeish?

    It's my sister's digital Olypmus FE-110, and the pics were taken in the same room under the same lighting conditions within a couple minute period of each other.

    That little camera can take pretty good pictures, just looked it up online. Doesn't look like you have the auto focus on. On some cameras you can turn it off, or change the camera settings. Also on some cameras all yo have to do is press down the picture taking btton half way and the picture comes to focus. After doing that press the button down all the way and the picture should take. Also a flash might help out a bit too.

    thanks for the advice. I'm gonna try mess around with it tomorrow and see if I can't get some better shots. I had no idea about holding the button down half way to get it to focus. lol

    Hold the shutter release button down halfway before you actually snap the shot, that is a popular feature with auto-focus cameras.

    The first and last photo came out orange because there was no flash.
