Help Me Pick!
Hello. I have a 1 1/2 high snake tank and I have been thinking about getting a pet gecko. I am a beginner and I need a easy one that i can care for easily. Which kind do you recommend?

well since you posted in the rhac section, how about a crested gecko?
what do you mean by a 1 1/2 snake tank though? cresteds are arboreal and need vertical rather than horizontal space. you can always take something like a 10 gallon tank and turn it on its side to make it taller rather than longer...

I was referring to a 1 1/2 ft high tank. It is one of those custom made exo terra tanks that have easy open doors on the front.
Can anybody tell me a good caresheet for cresteds? thanks! Including- Life span, size, heat humidity requirements, housing requirements, and what to feed?

Re: Help Me Pick!
it's actually no big deal for a crested to lose its tail. in the wild they never keep their tails. sometimes they drop their tails for no apparent reason at all so you just have to figure they know what they're doing.
